Predator Plants

Ordinary plants receive nutrients from the soil. But evolution loves to joke: there are among the representatives of the flora and such predators who will not mind eating even animals.

The most famous representative of the plant hunters is the Venus flytrap. This dangerous (for insects) predator lures prey by smell, and then digests alive.

A much more unpleasant plant looks nepenthes.

If the flycatcher hunts only insects, then nepentes can catch and swallow even rodents and small birds!
